...that whenever I buy onion rings, I get a single french fry mixed in, and whenever I buy french fries I get one onion ring stuck in there.

    WHY, GOD?!?! WHY!!!!????

By the way, I'm now a Cisco employee. W00t. Hopefully I'll get to keep my job too, that'd be nice. :ugh:

in short moose, stop going to the king, they have an incridible ablilty to always give you that one of seomthing you didnt order. Or if your getting this problem somewhere else, then i say run it through the scientific process.. it will lead you to an answer.

I have no clue, and neither does anybody else. It could be a good thing, or it could mean that I'll walk in next week and my key card doesn't work. We'll see.

yeah i heard about this buyout a few days ago (work for comcast)... i think you should be fine moose, cisco is just trying to keep ahead of the curve (as always) by owning the head units that will eventually be pumping pretty much all forms of comm to people's homes. since SA has a 40% + stake in all digital tv comm, it was their best bet. what job do you do there? the key thing is to look for redundancies between the two companies to get an idea of head cuts.

Unfortunately, I work in IT. Cisco runs a different ERP system than we do, so do they opt to integrate chances are I will be out looking for a job at that point... on the upside, it'll probably take a year or more before anything like that could occur, and the integration process itself would be massive. So we'll see... the market here isn't bad for SAP technical people, so not going to worry over it too much.
