The S2KAtlanta Club would like to invite you all to joins when we visit the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain, GA on Sunday, January 27. The park is located an hour south of Atlanta, with a drive that will put you will sleep so we encourage you to carpool if possible. We will be meeting at the Varsity in Midtown Atlanta at 10am with a departure time of 10:30am. We'll grab lunch in the town of Pine Mountain, then proceed to the park. The cost is: Adults - $16.95 Seniors (60 +) (Laze1) - $13.95 Children (Laze1 at the track) - $13.95 Toddlers (2 & Under) - Free If we can get enough participation I'll call for a group rate. This is seriously a lot of fun. You are up close with the animals and will probably get slobbered on! This is good fun for the entire family and friends so invite them all! Please let me know if you have any questions Attending: Here are a few pictures from our last visit:
I have been to a few of these before (one in Poland and one in Florida) and they are a blast! Some parks let you drive your own car but looking at the pictures, the windows looked bared so I'm guessing they'll drive or at least provide a car.
So I am guessing that means no water buffaloes outside of the van then, huh? Can't make it though dude, have fun
I've been there before. You can drive your own car or rent a van. Probably wouldn't want to drive any loud subaru's in there though they might not come up to you. Watch out for those damn emu's though, they're mean. Don't forget to buy the bag of food for them!
If you do it ride in one of the school busses. They took the windows out so the opening is huge. I actually had to wrestle a giraffe as it snuck in from the window behind us and tried to take my bag of animal treats. My kids were freaking out as I had the giraffe by an antler while I was pulling the bag from its mouth. BTW Only a fool would drive his own car in there.
 the mental image of that made me LOL. does look fun though. And hellll no to taking your own car through it.
