Will boost leak test show 100% ALL vacuum leaks

I'm still hunting for this stinking stumble that only happens under vacuum. So answer the question in the title? Please????

Usually it does....as in 95% of the time. Go to 24 pounds.

 

Ok. We only got to like 12 psi.

 

yes. I don't really see why it wouldn't. leak down tests are pretty thorough

 

Nicad this isn't a leak down test....it's a boost leak test

 

well, if you're doing it the way I think you're doing it, it can be the same thing.

yeah, he's not checking the valves/rings for leakage, but the mechanics are the same
