Can anyone recommend a good tint guy around here? I want to tint my windows. I'm looking for someone who is affordable that can do a good quality job. I don't want to have peeling and bubbling tint in 6 months lol.

I'm trying to get 30% all around. Really I wish i could get 20% but i don't want to have to deal with five-o right now

I know 32 is the legal limit, but how big of a difference is there between 32 and 20? If I ran 20, would it be obvious?

I just tinted mine the legal limit 35% and it is plenty dark. Had 5% on last year and got a ticket it was too dark anyways. Dangerous at night Had 20% on my wrx and never got messed with and it was really dark but you could still see a silhouette. I think I have pics of my car with all three of those % let me look em up

35% on mine was plenty, plus i could still back up at night and not have to roll the windows down

Just got the windows done. Went with 15% after holding several films against my glass to figure out what I liked

takes upwards of 2 weeks for the bubbles to clear

With every tint application, do the bubbles appear regardless of whether or not the job was done extremely well?

    Thanks matt.

The guy told me i should be ok to roll down my windows after two days. Should i wait until the bubbles clear up or will i be ok to roll down the windows before that?

I knew about the bubble thing beforehand, but never really knew how long they would take to clear up. From a distance the tint looks amazing, but from up close is a different story with the bubbles lol

I think I waited about a week before I rolled my windows down. can't remember though

  24. 2-3 days is the norm. The warm weather probably helps speed the process up.

If the bubbles don't disappear within a week and you are unhappy with it, take it back and I'm sure they will redo it, if that is the same owner of the K&L in Norcross.
