My windshield wiper fluid is full of crap, and using it just gets my windshield dirtier. Can I take the whole reservoir out of the engine bay and clean it out? If so, how? If not, any ideas?

    Thanks!

I would suspect you could. Probably won't be the easiest thing.

Only issue I can think of is the tubing. Otherwise it's pretty straight forward. Just bolts in at the bottom and has two pumps in the bottom that have to be unplugged

In fact you have to take it out to change the spark plugs. I think there were a couple of bolts, the connector for the pump and a tubing connection or 2. Not too bad. All right on top.

2 10mm bolts onthe top, 2 hoses and 2 connectors.

Taking it out to clean is the best way.

alright, and the hoses pop off? Just makin' sure.

I was hoping Will would chime in, but I think that at this point 60% of his PMs come from me asking questions, so I didn't wanna do that again :D

Check your wiper blades while you're at it, even new ones can get dirty quickly. You can clean the blades themselves with a rag and alcohol, this seems to have worked pretty well for me.
