Wiring problem getting worse....?

Basically after i got my car back from the body shop i have been noticing that my stereo, compass and cigarette lighter (accessories plugged into it) have not been turning off when the key is out of the ignition. Also, if i leave my windshield wipers on they too will continue to run with the ignition off. Are all of these on the same circuit? I'm thinking maybe someone rewired a bunch of stuff wrong at the body shop or something. Anyways, long story short i now have a dead battery (for the second time, it died while it was at SOG too), and NO jumper cables. Is anyone with electrical expertise available today? I need this fixed now! And i know if i somehow miraculously get the car started and get to SOG they won't be able to get to it today (not to mention I have absolutely no money whatesoever) and I am NOT going back to the body shop for electrical work they already messed up. So, somebody/anybody PLEASE HELP!

PM me for directions to my house!

yeah, i'm so confused it doesn't look like anything has been tampered with back there, yet here i am with a dead battery.

Maybe your ignition switch is the cause of the problem.

well i don't think i mentioned that the fuse box was partially exposed as a cause of the wreck. The door was pushed out and the interior was exposed to rain for a few days so i thought maybe something got wet down there and shorted.....?

I say check out your ignition switch as well.

Even if your fuse block got wet and shorted it shouldn't continue providing power,
    it should cut power.

Is the switch loose at all?

not that i can tell. it doesn't feel loose. it's weird, its only those few things that stay on.

You could always get the car recharged and pull the fuses for those accessories.
Maybe start with the radio fuse, then see if that kills the compass and cig-lighter.

Maybe there's a relay for that part of the system that's stuck open

ok i'm thinking maybe its a relay, how do i check that? i pulled every fuse (inside the cabin and engine bay) and the cigarette lighter, and compass never went out.

Do you have a copy of the service manual for your car?
If so, it should have wiring schematics for it, which you'll need to trace. It'll show you where
everything runs. You should be able to locate the relay for it from there.

The only manual I have is for MY04 STi which I can certainly look through, when I get home, to see if I can help you out from there.

However, if you've pulled fuses and the stuff stayed on, there very well may be a wiring problem.
You may want to pull some of your dash apart and start tracing wires from there.

yeah, that's what I don't want to do. Fuses I can handle. I don't even wanna hook up the lights on my gauges. I may just take it to SOG and have them source it out. But I have no money right now. So i will just wait it out, unless someone else thinks they can tackle it.
