I like that you don't have to rivet it like some others. Not sure about the price, because I've never priced them before.
I paid $110 for mine thru Bulletproof Automotive, but they messed up and sent me 2. I got mine about 2 years ago. It does rivet on, which is no big deal. Install was a piece of cake. Well worth it in my opinion, though I don't have an exhasut that leaves the black smoke residue all over the bumper.
thats not a bad price compared to other shields. But the fact is, the labor/materials to make that only costs about $30 so... If you'd rather go a different route to fix the soot problem, go to a muffler shop and have them weld a 1"-2" extension pipe onto your exhaust so it'll just barely stick out more. That'll solve the soot
Althought this would definitely be a cheaper fix, I think it looks pretty ghetto. I would definitely spend the extra couple bucks on the heat shield. Only seen this on a couple of Hondas before, so there may be a cleaner way to do it that doesn't look all ghetto.
Its just enough so the vortex back there sucks it away from the bumper. With it being white, my ENTIRE ass end used to be black 24/7
