78WB at Stone Dr Saturday evening. I was in my patrol car. You've got a nice-looking C-West body kit, but you were blinding everyone else on the road with your "HID Bulb in the 02 WRX Headlight Housing" trick. You were also too scared to pass me, no matter how slow traffic was crawling. I've seen you around before.... tailgating and cutting other cars off. Learn to drive goober.
Yeah, I've seen the kid before.... he can't be but about 20 or so. I was gonna see if I could rile him up. You guys have fun at RA, not sure if I'll be able to make it or not.
LOL that's too funny, but not for nothin-i don't know many people who drive a fast car that will pass a cop, regardless of how slow he's going (of course, rush-hour gridlock not withstanding).
Plenty of people in fast cars will pass me.... not at Mach 3, but I slowed waaaay down, trying to see if I could recognize who was driving it. Lots of times people who have something to hide will do it, especially at stoplights, and it is reasonable suspicion to pull them over. A lot of times it's minor stuff: suspended license, expired tag, no insurance, outstanding warrant, dead hooker in the trunk..... you know, things like that. He may've just thought I would disapprove of his blinding headlights (which I did) or his loud exhaust or his 5% tint.
well i don't pass cops in duluth, that's for damned sure. everything is reasonable suspicion to them. i know 2 guys who had their entire car tossed and there was nothing there (oh, well they had long hair). seats ripped, interior thrashed. pretty stupid shit. my old man was a cop, and i was around his buddies growing up, they always told me they just liked to fuck with people most of the time during the day (slowing down, not tossing cars)... boredom as it were of course at night there was never a boring moment.
Duluth is special. Don't get me wrong, there's a bunch of good folks that work over there, but I guess they do kinda have a reputation for their "enthusiastic" traffic enforcement.
nor do i (except in some places like duluth or forsythe at night), but i'm 30 and look like a professional. actually come to think of it the only time i've ever been pulled over was when my mom's minivan turn signal went on the fritz about 13yrs ago. but i know he was hoping to grab me for something more (for what i dunno, maybe just the boredom syndrom)
