Most of the time its alcohol, DVD's ect. There can also be gag gifts but as long as its usable like edible panties, random sex toys , or toilet paper. Dirty Santa is a popular party game usually played during the Christmas season in the United States. The premise of the game is that each guest contributes one gift to the game, and ultimately each guest walks away with one different gift from the game. Gifts are typically something lying around the house that you don't want and are funny, tacky, "Gag Gift", or an item that is completely useless. A cost range for the gift for people to stay within is usually agreed upon ahead of time. Alternatively, gifts may be non-gag items that meet certain requirements (e.g., "a favorite DVD"). Gameplay Not every version of the game uses the same rules for opening or transferring the gifts, though most versions involves some method to exchange them after they have been opened. Your table chooses a gift from the gift pile, opens the gift for all to see, and keeps it for the time being. Then next table, going counter clockwise, can either choose to take an unopened gift from the gift pile or steal a gift from any previous gift-opener. Each table is allowed to either unwrap a new gift, or steal any of the gifts previously opened. If a table's gift is stolen, that table can immediately unwrap a new one or steal another gift. Play is continued until a table unwraps a new gift, at which point play proceeds onto the next table. The gift is "dead" after it has been stolen three times. Owners of "live" gifts must keep them visible for all to see and hold them up when requested. After all turns have been taken, the table who went first has the option of taking one more turn since he had the disadvantage of not knowing what any of the now-opened presents were in the beginning. However, the table may not take any dead gifts nor may he steal back any gift that was stolen from the table. This gives the table the opportunity to steal something he likes better but at the same time, places some limits on what the table can take. If there were no limits then he would be able to wait until everyone else is finished playing and then choose whatever he wants. When playing individuals as apposed to tables, the same rules apply. At the end the person who chose first gets to choose again, but not any that are "dead" or have been previouly stolen from that individual.
last time we did it, a group of us bought a gift (under $20, IIRC), and we drew numbers on which gift to get, and you could either get a new gift or steal someone else's
WHY ARE YOU YELLING??????? and I do believe we can either talk joe into getting strippers, or at least a visit to the PP...
BECAUSE...its very important that there are strippers.....If we go to the PP I know people there we get the mad hook up.
the strippers would have to be a separate part of it....so a $20 gift, and then money for the strippers
Joe and I are pushing for the 18th, because apparently the 16th is slowwrx's bday, and the 17th is mine, and the 18th is probably the best day for most of us
I only go to titty bars once a year in Kansas..... I'll come to harrass BreNt and give you some more of my scorn over the GT3
ok, I talked to Joe last night and apparently he is a retard. He chose those dates based on the same day of the week as November for December. From what he told me, he wants to do it Saturday the 15th, if possible.
Dusty has to work the 15th but she is trying to switch. Gonna try and have grandma watch Zan for the night too. Put me down + 1 tentatively
