Does anyone know how to get an xbox with xbmc to "detect" a flash drive? I have an adapter that is an xbox controller plug on one end and a female usb on the other so connecting is not a problem. I just cant get it to "see" the flash drive. I know it works because it powers the flash drive and the lights blink like its reading it.

Here is a pic of the adapter I am using.

not really sure if they have support for them. I never really bothered trying on mine, since it is networked.

    what dashboard are you running?

Evo X. The controller ports are essentially usb 1.1

tried to access it through both the Evo X dashboard and xbmc. No luck in either :( Done a bunch of reading tonight and cannot find anything related. Will try again tomorrow.

Well I have 3 flash drives and all 3 are from different reputable manufacturers(Kingston, PNY, Blah Blah). I tested all 3 with the same results. All of them are usb 2.0 but thats not saying much since usb 2.0 is backwards compatible to usb 1.1. Not sure what Slayers install is.
