yay....A/C Compressor Woes...

    sounds like clutch is going out on this beast...rolled over 100K miles this past weekend.

    easier to replace the clutch or just replace the whole compressor? Thoughts?

    Easier to call Allpro and see if they have a used one to sell you.

    sounds like the clutch is going out EVERY TIME the solenoid engages the clutch. High pitched squeal, metal on metal sound. Almost the sound of having your rotors turned...that metal scraping away at the rotor until it has been completely resurfaced.

    only does it when the ac is on.
    oh yeah, 100k miles on the compressor now. just rolled over this past weekend.
