This happens when pulling into your neighborhood. I am now taking tire size/brand/model suggestions... I have stock 16" wheels. I have a Kauffman, Goodyear, and Tires Plus close to me. Close enough to get there on a spare.
So how about these tires in 225/50/16? I saw on another post by WJM that they will fit with no rubbing. They are on sale. http://www.kauffmantire.com/proddet... Width: 225 Aspect Ratio: 50 Rim Diameter: 16
Stock rims. I am open to tire size suggestions. I will be shopping very soon Sun or Mon so post them up.
looks like you needed tires soon anyways. sorry to hear that it was sooner than expected thouigh. good luck withthe tire purchase
I little bulgy and tall for my tastes ^^^... but who am I to talk, I'm gonna put 255/40/17's on my car once the stockers wear out
Any rubbing problems? I got a quote for the ZX2 in 225/50/R16 for $99 a piece plux tax at Kauffman or the ZX2 in 205/55/R16 for $117 a piece plus tax. Also got a quote for Fuzion VRI BL in 205/55R16 for $370 out the door.
Changed. It was supposed to be 225/50. I am now thinking that is too bulgy for me. I am thinking of going with the stock size. I will see if they have the Fuzion's in 215/55.
i dunno.. i love those tires.. ther not as bulgy as they look.. ive had gforces on my car with stock width and i like these alot better,,
225/50 is the same diameter as 205/55. The 215/55 will be TALLER than stock. Nothing wrong with 225/50's on the stock 16x6.5 rim. Just run about 5psi more to stiffen up the sidewall and it'll be like gold. VERY common 'mod'. Oh, and ZERO rubbing issues unless you are stupid low.
ive seen a few people run 215/55/16 on their cars.. it fills uop the wheel well a bit better.. its 1.7% taller than stock... personally... i regret not going with 215s...
Well I went ahead and bought the Fuzion VRis. Got out for $400. Not bad after buying truck tires. I am sure I will be happy with them. Just need to watch out for those tools in the road. Thanks for all the input and advice.
