All the dirt and stuff on mine might actually be able to protect it from rock chips at this point.

    Just friendly safety reminder...

    Check your brake fluid
Bleed your brakes if you haven't done so in a while
    Change your oil
Check to make sure you have enough brake pad
Check Tire pressures and tread depth
Check the torque on your lugs
Check the torque on newly installed parts.

I do this whole check list EVERYTIME before I go to the mountain or autox. Its a very good habit.

Its most likely going to be colder up there than it is here, your tire pressures WILL drop with the change in temp.

Bring tools... Hands tools, socket set, a hammer, pry bar, screw drivers, flash light, and zip ties. I keep this stuff in a tool bag in my car at all times, I've never had to use this stuff on my own car. However lots of people have been very thankful I had it.

Over prepared is better than stuck because you don't have a 14mm with a 6 inch extension to tighten something that fell off or had shaken lose.

Most of bring a clear mind... Its gonna damp and chilly up there.

I look forward to meeting those you I haven't meet yet.

Thanks for the reminders!!!! Looking forward to meeting new folks and seeing everyone. Forester isn't exactly in any shape to be going on a major run but definitely looking forward to hanging out!
