Wife is working tomorrow, so cooking is on me. Started preppin today so I can just put them in the oven and fry the bird. Some guys from school are coming over since they wanted a fried turkey this year, we're using my fryer and pot lucking the rest. Build list: 12lb bird Green bean casserole Squash Casserole Mashed Sweet Potatoes with candied pecans and marshmallow topping Pumpkin Pie Brown Gravy Jello mold Pecan muffins Here's the spread minus the cold stuff, with build sheets in front (jk its the recipe)
I am having about 40-50 people at my house tomorrow. I started prepping yesterday. We will have (2) 16 lbs whole certified black angus prime rib roasts (1) Large Turkey (1) Whole Honey Baked Ham (2) Sushi Boats Various Asian Sides Various Traditional Thanksgiving sides
j/k Unfortunately we still aren't in our house until the 6th so we are doing the holiday tour to families tomorrow. Day of driving and eating for me.
14 lbs. bird bunch of back ribs on the smoker mash potatoes with gravy, mmmm. Sweet potatoes. mac and cheese and finally, corn on the cob. The list keeps growing with each passing hour. xD
I already threw away the box they came in. My Aunt ordered the case through the meat distributor she uses at her restaurant.
Frying up a turkey tomorrow + all the normal sides, but next weekend we are doing the usual drunksgiving party that will probably have some insane people and 30-40 people
Yup. Halperns. Was curious how you got it since they only sell to restaurants. 1855 is their in house CAB brand. It's a very nice quality beef. Did one of those at Christmas last year in a salt crust, probably gonna do it again this year.
