steel wheels can't be repaired. you're gonna have to buy new wheels. sucks. but at least that's all the damage is. :)

I don't think the rod matters at all. I replaced the clutch with a new pressure plate and it started working perfectly. this was after replacing...
it's the fingers on the pressure plate for the clutch. I had the same thing happen to me a few years ago on my RS. It took months to figure out...
