Saw a black STi I think 04-05 with bc coilovers and a southrnfresh sticker. Anyone on here? Looking good!
I gotcha. I want to run 265s as well, only I've got wider fenders. Looks like a trial and error kinda deal.
What offset are your wheels? Thats my next step after i decide what hubs to run. Always inspired by your car man!
Its my personal car, trying to build something I can daily so im probably gonna go with racecomp springs on sti struts. Wasnt sure if all that...
ah, didnt realize it was that little of a difference. still not doing coilovers though
What are you 6 speed swap guys running. Do the springs need to be GC specific because of the weight, or will STi springs give me the same ride...
wouldnt this get more traffic in the for sale section?
matt im in for a pump too
Updated first post with some widebody action and an assembled shortblock. Should have some more powdercoated peices to show off pretty soon.
as far as I know cylinder head exchange doesnt do machine work, they just stock heads done by Allied or Dover, cant remember which one.
looks like an eagle rod in the block. could have a built bottom end... or rod knock
Best Metal in Lilburn. They do great work, but seem expensive, although I've never compared them to anyone else, so its hard to say
Did you check your oil pan for bearing material?
working on the last bit of machining needed for the block before it can go together. Updated the first post with a picture of it in the honing maching
fiberglass, to much chance of wrecking at the track to go with carbon
Updated the first post with pics of the font fenders installed. Working on getting the old control arms and suspension off now
fenders showing up today, I'll add some pictures shortly
Lookin good. Seen you around lilburn a couple times I believe. Always inspires me to finish mine
Unless some one is building machines in their basement, no such machine exists as far as I know
