I've been looking around at these things lately and i was wonder if anybody ever built/heard of these things as race cars, or making any good number.

i really want an 02 or body style though... and i figured that might be the case, but im not sure if i can afford a wrx
im really considering buying a 2002 2.5rs and swapping in a built STi engine and transmission. i was wondering if anyone on here has done that...
