I will be there to hang out and help anyone who may need it. Man I love this wagon.....LOL....Milo, what type of food are you needing for this install day?. Mark
WRX-WRC and myself will bring chilly, but it'd be great to see some other cold weather food there. Of course, burgers are always a hit. I am sure someone would love to volunteer to hang around the grill (free heater) and help cook. Beer is always a plus, maybe some thermoses filled with coffee or such if it is indeed truely is going to be that cold.
like alex said, chilli and burgers have been the traditional food... if we could get a bunch of volunteers to get burgers and buns, that would be great... sodas and water would be good too along with some snacks like chips, salsa, etc coffee is better when its irish
what kinda soda does the gang like? i might be nice enough to buy a 12 or 24 pack, or two each depending how many are going to show up.
If Ming's up for it we may be putting my roof rails onto his Saabaru and putting the smooth tops on my wagon.
All right im down with the install day. Do i need to bring any tools we mite need? Also i know that it going to be at Milo's but it would be helpful if i knew the address of how to get there.
I need to do an auto to manual tranny swap on my new SVX (porter's old one). I'd like to do it on the install day but I'm sure I would be missing a crucial part and I'd get stuck there.
:wavey: Sounds like fun. I'm in ,i don't know if i will have any thing to install, but i'm good with my hands, and have some tools. letme know if I need to bring any thing !!
I'll swing by, I have a portable air compressor and air wrench for lugs and such if anyone needs to borrow.
If you think this is cold try changing an alternator in Chicago in January outside at night 10 below with windchill. This is a friggin heat wave brother! Well I will have a set of Fast Line Mud Flaps if that even counts. I'd love to lend a hand and learn though!
if i can make this one, i'll bring a few large coffee thermoses and a little bottle of st brendans for those so inclined, along with tools and my limited knowledge of the wrx along with a 150w inverter, tools (i have flex wrenches if anyone wants to adjust their teins) and a few extension cables, tire compressor, etc. maybe i'll make some soup too, any suggestions?
go ahead if u want to... i have detailed directions from all the major interstates in atlanta... figured i'd just paste those and avoid the trouble of typing it all up again... i'll be back this coming weekend so we'll have plenty of time before the event
ummmmm beer... maybe this install day i'll break my tradition of being drunk all day and actually help wrench
I have a meth kit I need to install, but I dont know if I can wait that long. Im also debating on getting an 18G before I get it tuned again with the meth kit. So I might have the turbo to install. Ill be there gegardless.
No, you cant do that. I love answering the most popular queston of the day..."Hey Alex, where's Milo?" :keke: You get to hold the fort in the heat with the video games, I get to have the fun outside. Its quite the fair trade IMO
Well I might be able to make it to this one. So what would a noob like me be able to contribute/gain from something like this?
So my buddy Rich got his CIA for his tC. We don't have a clue about these things, so we're going to bring his car and parts and hope Eric shows up!
I got a bunch of stuff to do, I should be there we could try space heaters w/generators for the wusses
i have helped two friends with tC's install CAI, it really isnt all that bad, just takes a little time patience. i will be there to consume beer and would be happy to lend a hand
well i couldn't wait aNYMORE.... i got sum stuff installed.. 3 gauges(& piller pod) my new turbo timer, new slk style mirrors, but i still got a rare sway bar, and other stuff i will have by then... well i'm bringing cold ones... what kind u all drink let me know..
i've never been to one of these. what little details do we need to know about? i figure bring your own tools and any supplies needed. a 12 pack or 2 of 420's for all to enjoy :naughty: anything else? food? what time?
AWESOME!!! then i can just work on my radio. this will be so cool. bunch of grease monkeys and cold beer!
Never been to one of these either but interested. I have a set of sway bars. So anything else I need to bring besides booze?
There should be plenty of access to tools. I usually try to bring a good selection of tools to share. **Bring beer**
i do have a little 100watt power converter for my cig outlet. don't know if it strong enough for power tool.
What about extentsion cables? I have lots of extentision cables. (seriously!) Or we can all bring our sets of extenstion cables to make the mile long extenstion cable.
