Following Dyno Day at Batlground, I actually have some stuff to post. That is as soon as I figure out how to. Pictures of Sti muffler and baseline dyno to follow. Soooooo much room for improvement!
I figured out how to post pics! Now if I could just figure out how to make cheap, reliable and substantial whp without a turbo, HA! Oh well, I ordered a the 22mm adjustable rear bar from Whiteline, maybe that'll make my 125whp feel even better!
Got new paint on that front bumper, and a new lip to protect it! Thanks to Richard (salmonfacesalad) for the install!
all the 06+ wagon owners have an option now. BTW this lip fits like a glove with no modification to the lip or the car! besides the extra reinforcement screws for confidence, but this was done on the STi so reinforcement screws are a good idea for sedans also, oh well wagons FTW.
Thanks guys! I am interested in getting wheels in the distant (when I got more money) future. After seeing my wagon, does anyone have any ideas for a set of rims that would not only look good, but would be not too much heavier than my current stockers? I think the stockers weigh 16.5 lbs, and I have found the Kosei rims on Tirerack, but I think they look kinda funny, too "spokey" but they are so light!
Lip looks sick man! I was going to buy that thing. I did all kinds of research on the lip and found several sources that said it wouldnt fit! But Im glad it does, it looks amazing!
So far I have had good luck with adding things to my wagon that were not designed to fit, makes me wonder what else I can get away with.... Anybody have some interesting parts they want to donate to this experiment? hehehe
Its been a while since the wagon got some lovin', so I put a rear strut tower bar earlier today, took about 45 minutes altogether. Pics coming. Now my mod list includes: Whitline 22mm adj rsb noltec rear endlinks whitline rear strut bar w/ quick-release on the front.... all stock. I started out trying to tighten up the back end for a more neutral feel and now I have completely over-compensated; now my car is the definition of oversteer....
