    Doesn't seem like too many people will be around. I think I'm going to cancel this. You are, of course, more than welcome to still go if you want to...I don't think I'll be there though.

    I will most likely miss the meet. My mother is currently quite ill and in ICU in hospital. I'm taking it one hour at a time right now.

    well we had a rocky start and ended up jumped venues twice, but third time was the charm. Glad to see the usual's and meet some new faces. Was a small but good wrap up for the year in dinner meets. Until next time! There was talk with the toyobaru people about a impromtu meet possibly on a weekend before the year is over, but nothing set in stone.

    Exactly the reason I haven't been there, except replace work with school/college. I can make it home most weekends, but I definitely can't make it home on a Tuesday night....especially last semester. I hope in the future we start meets on the weekend!

    HMM, i think we had a 'throw out restaurant suggestions phase' last year. So maybe lets start that hear, and we can get a idea of what people are thinking, and also what places we liked this past year from those who attended.

    I'll just throw it out there that the 5seasons and Taco Mac at the Prado shopping center has always been some of our largest gatherings as it's so centralized to mostly everyone. So I think we should have those continue on.

    Sorry guys....I've been dealing with my mom's health issues and haven't had time to put anything together. :(

    If anyone wants to take over this year and put something together, please let me know! I had planned on following ALMOST the same schedule as last year, minus a few changes such as the johns creek TK. Or maybe just kill TK all together? Even when we give them a heads up, they can't seem to get things right. Same goes for Twin Peaks WHO I CALLED EARLIER THAT AFTERNOON to confirm.

    So yeah... we have a great list of places...lets use most of them again! :)

    I agree with removing those two places, overpriced, meh food, and yes I know they're selling the illusion of skin, but the lack of service wasn't worth it.

    Chrisw, I like the Gwinnett idea, I think we would get a fair bit more people making it out. Any suggestions as to where?

    When I brought home a rack of ribs for my wife from Grand Champion she suggested we have the meets there all the time.

    I know this is crazy talk but there are some good places to eat in Decatur....

    Decatur is a good idea, but a lot of those places are smaller... raging burrito might work best... I'm sure there are many more that I don't remember.

    I'll admit it.. I sort of laughed that most places were within about a 20 minute drive from the house. I'd be fine with making a further drive to try something else out. I mean we can't exactly just meet up around mid area and close to the Marietta area. Atlanta is a big place. I say we do a meet from the schedule and we all talk it out at the table and figure what everyone wants the next meet. Not to mention talking about where to eat next at a meet is always a great subject.. Someone might of not liked their food that night or service and could recommend the next place.
