Is a new air intake a worth it on a 2016 WRX?

not really. you're better off getting an upgraded panel filter

I am trying to find some upgrades that wont give me issues with my warranty. I want to get a Cobb AP because i hear it helps with the Rev lag between 1st and 2nd, and also helps with the power loss in the 5k rpm range but i hear that if i have an issue they could deny me coverage because of it.

Pads stainless lines and fluid are a good start

the AP will kill any drivetrain warranty if you keep it married when you take it in. If you unmarry it before you take it in for service, your chances are better. BUT, keep in mind that Subaru Warranty people monitor all social media and forums, so if anything happens, keep it offline. people have been burned before for it.

sways were a good upgrade too in my opinion. not sure what those do for warrantees though. And, I'm not sure if the newer models need them as much...
