It's a blast! It's soooo different then the WRX. I miss the hammer on torque the 2.0L made at 2800k. The V8's torque curve is a gradual build, so it doesn't have the sensation my WRX had. But, with that being said, the rate it gathers speed is totally ridiculous. Winding a motor out to 8500 is still scary, the engine comes alive at 6k and becomes blistering fast. 2 things, the pedals in the WRX were prefect for heel-toe, the BMWs are all at different heights. Not a fan of that yet. Second, the WRX's 5-speed was so much smoother then the M's The M's is notchy and a bit vague. I miss my trany for sure. Bet no one thought they'd hear that about a Subi trans.
