In light of recent events in my community, I ask that everyone be safe and smart this New Year's Eve. Have fun, have a blast, enjoy yourselves, but please be smart and if you have been drinking please don't drive. Two brothers were laid to rest this week (one prior to Christmas and one passed yesterday) due to a drunk driver crossing the median and hitting them head on. Of course the drunk driver was not hurt. Be safe everyone and Happy New Year!
I hadn't heard, I guess I am not as active as I should be. So sad and senseless. I for one am staying in and getting my drunk on with the wife.
