LOL everyone thinks I take things personally.....I don't. I just like to start drama because without it this board is boring enough.

 

Still not sure what happened to mine. The ringlands were fine but the but the compression was low. It had some slight groves in the cylinders that may have caused some loss of compression.

The smoke that got me panicked enough to check was from the turbo that I got as an upgrade to my "Poor Mans 35R"™. Since I never checked the compression early on I can't be sure that the problem didn't exist from the start. But once I saw it I had to fix it.


I hope your old engine is just noisy and that it will last a long time. Fixing these things is getting expensive.

 

Well in all honesty you rode in my car the day it got tuned so you know how it sounded so quit complaining about the pistons.

 

I'm not complaining I am mocking. It was the best deal I have ever made to get your old car from you.

A free engine, transmission and suspension setup is a very good deal indeed.

 

For that price and ZERO headache from pulling/shipping for me.....YEP.

458 on 93 and meth and 510 on q16.

Not too bad for a poor man's 35r and a top mount.

The car is for racing only it is not a daily driver.

We will run Q16 at the drag strip only. As it is the 93 and meth map is more power than I need on a road course so when I am in the drivers seat I'll dial it back quite a bit.

 

Theres no such thing as too much power unless you are leaving black marks from corner to corner.
