Tire Rack has the new Dunlop Sport Z1 for $120 a tire for 215/45/17.... that's going to put you at $250 more than the falkens you are looking at. Seriously these tires are designed to be a competitor with the RE01r and 615. For an extra 250 bucks more it's totally worth it.
I have a new set of 452 on my car in a 215/40-18 on a 7" wheel and I wish I would of done a 225. The tire handles really well though!
Meredith, I understand that the price may not be much more between tyres on tyreack but currently discounttire has a $100 instant rebate which makes for a huge difference in overall price. So I'm mainly steering towards their selection and trying to find what suits best. Also, I can't afford an extra $250! I've got an interview next week so if I don't get any of the current ones while this offer lasts I will certainly look into the ones you have mentioned at a later point.
It's tire not tyre. Can't wait for my Nitto's to come in. My next set will be some RE01R's most likely.
