i dunno about the strip club but sure install day... i got a bunch of stuff to put on and take off... as a up pipe, hella horns [2 pairs], repair couple of groundings or enchance them..
I am down for sure... I finally got some Defi gauges and the Hellas... let me know what I need to bring!
To hard to eat lobster at an install day anyways. Bearing grease goes best with Hamburgers and Sausages...
hi all... i've lurked around this site a lot and made a few posts, but i have never been to any get togethers and haven't met anybody. i'm a total noob when it comes to actually working on a car, and i have no tools. i just got a Cobb short shifter and bushings from my boss as a gift! i think i can probably install the shifter myself without much trouble, but i've looked at the instructions for the bushings and they look like a major pain. i have never tried putting a car up on ramps and i'm just paranoid i'm gonna screw something up. so i think i may come to this and hopefully some people can help me with getting the car in the air and supporting the tranny and all that stuff? and let me use their tools, ramps, etc? i really have no idea what i'm doing and as i said, i have no tools to bring but i can bring some beer or something.
you sir are always welcome... no problems we have got enuff tools thanks to brain, and others just get there and we will take care of u over all abt beers and etc,, last install day i brought 2 henken and only 1 case was finished.. sucks.. where did the other case go? any1 remember? lol
u should come out... people are pretty friendly and will be willing to help out... if u need tools or assistance, make sure u ask someone for help
I'm Prob Going To Bring A Double Din Dvd Player And Some Hoses To Dress Up My Engine Bay...will There Be Someone There To Help This Mississppi Boy Out?
I dunno how many people know how to wire in the headunit but we'll be more than happy to help change out some hoses.

I Was Hopin All Us Wrx'rs Can Hang Out In Atl Since I'm Makin Sucha Drive..last Time I Think I Was There For Nationals And My Car Was Parked Next To The Wrxatl Tent Yall Had And I Hung Out With Some Of U At The Varsity That Sat Night...don't Remember Who They Where Though

I'm going to try and make this to lend a hand where needed. Also, I have a FREE (stock) Uppipe for whoever wants it (to gut or sell or whatever), IF You'll help me get rid of a CEL from my uppipe =) The resistor doesn't seem to be working... maybe my wattage isn't high enough, but I don't think that would be the case.
I may have my Invidia or Helix catless DP by then and it will be a great opportunity to meet some new folks and see some old buddies as well. I will also lend a helping hand wherever needed.... Mark
I might have sways by then. I'll try to make it out, even if i dont have anything to install ill come and maybe learn some things/lend a hand.
Ditto. I'm nearly positive I won't have anything to install myself, but if someone's not afraid to let me under the hood and help, I'm not afraid to get dirty. I've got to start somewhere, and you guys seem like a great group of people to learn from.
Hopefully installing stock BPV, Hella Red Horns, Recharge my INJEN air filter. Also will be bringing two guest with me see you there and tell us what food/drink to bring.
if i get a clutch and flywheel...will there be someone qualifed enough to help me pull the tranny and install those goodies? i will get them dinner haha
that will probably be too much work for an install day and i doubt there are too many people experienced enough... usually the stuff we have tackled has been on the order of exhaust, suspension, baking headlights, etc...
u can throw ur headlights in the oven to melt the sealant and take them apart... people usually do this to clear the amber blinkers or paint the insides for a customized look... then sit them back in the oven to get the sealant molten and put them back together
if u are talkin about something like these, then thats a protective film applied to the outside of the headlight and doesn't require you to open them
We baked 3 sets of headlights this past weekend (including a set for the lgt). Everyone was happy Sylver, you should do the front grille mod, it may just look awesome!
if you haven't bought the recharge kit yet you can have the rest of my K&N recharge kit that I used on mine...works good...let me know
what double din is it? i have an alpine im getting ready to remove from mine. It was probably a 15 minute install total when i put it in. Longest part is wiring the harness.
This is the only pic I could find of my headlights after I baked them. I think you have a black wrx. Hope this helps.
Just get the RockBlocker kit. They've got kits in Smoked, Yellow, Blue and Clear. Check this link for various pics. http://www.rockblocker.net/Images/Subaru/Light/album/index.html
Yes, yes it is. But first things first, since I got her back from SoG last thursday she's been making this strange fluttery noise... I took her in today to have Bob listen to it, and thankfully he's pretty sure he knows exactly what it is. Apparently the downpipe I got was a 3" Perrin (looks awesome!) and it's connecting to my still-stock 2.5" exhaust. He put in some sort of gasket-somethingoranother (I recall him saying donut, of all things) to make it work, however it's causing this new noise. He says there's nothing "wrong" and it shouldn't cause any problems but if I got a new exhaust to match, the noise would theoretically disappear - leaving the beautiful sound of the turbo to woo me without distraction. So. I'm going to ask you guys for help, here. I have no idea which brand or type is better than any other, or even what I should be looking for for what I want it to sound like. Obviously I need a 3" pipe to fit up with the downpipe itself, and I want it to sound...growly, but not too excessively loud. As for fitting under the Baja without having to cut anything, I actually found a picture of something that looks like it was custom-made but fits and looks very nice.. Since I just spent a pretty penny on her last week, I won't be able to actually buy anything for about a month or so, but that should give me plenty of time to look at all of my options.
Nice!! ask Mike (sakari mortorsports) or go to the link at top of page to see if they have anything specific for the baja
