I got my intake in today and I'm gonna try to install it tonight. Call me @ 404-210-2103 if you can help or "direct".

    Thanks

BTW, I'm just west of Hwy120 and Roswell Rd. Free beer and GT4 afterwards?

Injen CAI. I got it installed myself (wife helped a bit). No broken plastic screws and didn't take the bumper off! 8)

The good: So far 1.5 days of whoosh/fssshhh type sounds.
The bad: Just got CEL couple minutes ago. 8(

05's are a little picky... your only solution may be EM

Hrm. I need to wait for Ecutek'ing til my dp & exhaust arrives. Will there be any serious problems running around a week or 2 w/ a CEL? I'm curious what it would complain about with an intake...

Nah, the CEL should just be the MAF sensor yelling at you. The car should run just fine, but keep tabs and be sure to monitor whether or not you're running rich or lean...on either extreme of the spectrum.

That's good to hear, but lol, how can I tell rich/lean? I'm used to pulling the plug on my dirtbike to check, but I don't think that's what you mean.

i guess u dont have gauges... CELs always scare me... u can pick up one of the trouble code readers... rollin_trip picked one up at topspeed i believe and it was relatively cheap.

it also would be a good idea to invest in some gauges if u don't have any

Thanks for the replies, I'll stop by AutoZone today. I noticed some lurching/unsteady throttle while driving slowly thru the rain this morning too.

As far as guages I'll still haven't decided between just the boost guage I already have, the ecutek display, or a defi setup. I haven't been able to check out anybody's install of the ecutek or defi yet...(hint) 8)
