Lexus LFA Stops by Forged Performance.

    saw it again this morning and I understand the yellow. from a distance I think most people just write it off as a Datsun with an aero kit if it didn't stand out that much.

    Does the rear wing detract at all? or just stays at that height and tilts?

    It detracts. I think they call it active aero or something like that.

    I ran up on a Turbo Beetle at a stop light on the way to work the other day. After light turned green, at around 40mph on my car I saw this wing thingy on top of the car pop up and I was like "HUH"?

    Why on a beetle....lol.

    The spoiler works just like it does on the Veyron. Except that it doesn't act as brakes. I'm pretty sure anyway.

    It's active aero and creates downforce. The difference is this wing and it's supports are the beefiest I have seen up close.

    lol about beetles with active aero.

    I remember when the TT first came out that they "became somewhat unstable at speed", hence the small duck tail added after the first year.

    I bet the active aero on the Beetle was so they could control the lift at speed and retain the "iconic shape".
