^^ I'm not for it... but I would say the majority(who do no research) are. Going by some friends and a majority of my Dem co-workers, I think the average Joes thinking on it would be.. "Hell yeah, free health care for everyone! It works in Canada!" ... I was using it as an example of ideas that will never fly. As Nicad reworded for me, those in power fear change. And... as they make the rules, everything stays the same.
^^^ Only to be replaced by someone with the exact same interests... themselves and the people who sponser them. Again, the pessimist in me... I vote for the lesser evil every four years for president. Other than that, I don't really bother. Which is why I don't bitch that much, as I'm doing nothing to make change... too lazy I guess. I guess I just feal significant change is not possible with our current system... ie... voting for Ron Paul = waste of time/vote....
