geez...looks like my parents house.lol i have my STi, SRT-4, their Trailblazer, Audi, and Porsche...he did have the z06 but got rid of that. all there at the house. i've always liked the s2k's...congrats on your 100th car.lol can't wait to see how it does on auto x.
so do you still have the sti or not? as far as the inside of the s2k, i was quite comfortable in it, and i am a big guy.......ok fat. Brian took me for in a ride in his old car, and i must admit i had a blast. Make sure you don't give me the offer to drive that car, or i might take you up on it.
but the heat generated by friction with the air at high speeds could have turned it blue... like my rotors
I love the S2K. And I'd have gotten one if only it came with more power potential and a little more room for duffle bags and junk. Congrats though. I know you'll love driving it.
My old one was silverstone (dark silver): This one is Suzuka blue: Plus my old one was a 2001 and this is a 2002, which affords the luxury of a glass soft top window, which was my major gripe about the 2001. I need to wash it tonight and take Mere out to dinner in it. -- Brian - I got my Lancer Pride!!
that is the last time I buy mere a car... she just couldn't get used to the tail happy nature of rwd....... :wtc: -- Brian
Yeah, I bought it so that I could build a locost (Lotus 7 replica car) like this one: http://www.cheapsportscar.net but using an s2000 engine, tranny and ecu instead, to give it 200hp to the wheels instead of the 100hp that the miata offers. The chassis and suspension will be bought from http://www.coveland7.com pictures from the collision shop: http://www.briangt.com/gallery/blues2k I am starting to part it out: http://www.briangt.com/gallery/s2k going to try to get at least 3k back from the parts. Here is the initial starting idea: -Buy coveland7.com IRS miata chassis with control arms, aluminium, fibreglassparts, coilovers etc. (~5k of parts) -Buy Miata 1.8 uprights and brakes on all corners. -Pick up miata 1.8 torsen rear diff -Make custom drive shaft to mate the s2k tranny with the miata diff. What do you think? Result will be something like this: 1400lb car with 200rwhp, and street legal if you add a windshield and register as a kit car. -- Brian
