Actually any Wed. - Thur. in January and Feb except for Feb 2-3 looks good...

I need deposits to reserve the track at LEAST 2 weeks out. Deposits are $200.

It would good to lock down the days ASAP.

scott, i have one question. Will my RE92 (stock tires) handle track time??? by that time, they'll have about 13K miles on them. later we go, i have greater chance to get Toyo T1-S (hopefully) or Toyo Proxes 4s on stock 16".

So we're talking 2 days right? That may be a push for me but maybe I can work it out. Brian

As I understand it, the group will be split into 2 days. Half will attend day 1, the other half will attend day 2. This will mean more individual track time! :)

Correct. Half one day, half the other. Basically 5 or 6 one day, and the other 5 or 6 the other.

If your RE92's have tread all the way across they will make it through the day. If you go with the intent of finishing them off you will have the most fun of anybody there ;)

Seriously don't put new rubber on for it if the old stuff will make it through. You will have tons of fun not caring about your tires.

Guys with new rubber, don't worry, we have a whole section about how to be nice to your tires. If you drive properly you don't really do that much damage to them.

    more info in a sec.

For those that havent been to this track, there is more or less null possibility of hitting anything(in case anyone was worried) Very interesting track, qualified for my Wera license there, look forward to trying it in a Car(should be a bit less scary lol)

    Looking forward to the details,

    Jason

Is this deal fading away? I'm serious about going and I'm flexible about dates. One thing I'm eager to learn is how to drive my AWD Subaru and this sounds like the perfect opportunity - Brian

definitely not fading away... im definitely gonna go as well as those who have reconfirmed... i guess that some people might be travelling over the holidays and have not been able to post...

thats one of the main reasons i thought of planning something in february instead of january... that and also so that i can TRY to get some swaybars in :D

I'm still in. seems like i should get sway bar for MORE tail-out Fun!!!

what kind of payment is accepted???

For the normal rate we just need 5 or 6 people any Mon-Thurs. It doesn't look like we'll have the 10-12 we need for two days in a row.

So lets shoot for a day that works for 5-6, maybe Thursday January 13th. Really we can do any day, but Thursdays have worked for most people.

If you can do January 13th, post here. If not, post what day works best for you.

For payment, I can only take cash and checks. I MUST have your $200 deposit before the school. So far I have allowed people to give me checks at the school for the second half and haven't been burned yet...

If everybody who is still in could e-mail me your e-mail addy, I can start to send out the "Pre-Event" e-mails with info that I believe allows you to get more out of the clinic.

As always, please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions.

nothing early january will work for me... if there are 5-6 people who can make it early then go ahead... i'll try to get a group together sometime in february

Mid February ??? Let's set a date and run with it. I'm ready to send my deposit , I'm pumped about running my car without fear of blue lights or someone pulling out in front of me - Brian

  36. FTZ

I agree, let's set a date. The earlier I know the better my chances of getting the day off from work.

  37. FTZ

    FTZ ^.^

I requested off Feb 9 and 10. If the dates change I don't know if I will be able to make it. I would hate to screw this up for everyone, or have to back out at the last second.

Milo, you originally wanted to do this Feb 9 and 10, is this still the plan?

Feb 9 & 10, both are good for me. Earlier is better cuz i'm really excited about this.

is anyone doing Flush out brake fluid with DOT4 for track???

  39. Genya

Genya No Longer Up At Odd Hours

I'm not sure if we can still do 9th and 10th. I know some can't do the 17th, but can some do the 16th and some the 17th?

If people are itching we can do one in January and one in February.

Sorry to remove the 9th and 10th date now I'm going to be out for a famly thing the 2-7th and I don't know how the dealership would feel about me being gone most of 2 weeks in a row...
