RECALL: 02-03 WRX Fuel Leak

Too bad GA isnt on the list

 

True butt it says There will be a warranty extension for this particular issue for the remaining 34 states. #WVK-21. I just find it BS there is a problem there and it needs too be fixed.

 

Now if only they would extend it to the 04-05, too. My Saabaru has this issue, and it sucks!

 

I've had it so long, I've actually gotten to like the aroma.


"Smell that? You smell that?"

"What?"

"Petrol, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of petrol in the morning".

 

I think my car has this issue.. I'm willing to bet money it does. I wonder if i can take it to SOK..hmmm

 

Whats the fix for this? I had it really bad on my old motor and spent ~$400 for the guys at SoG to fix it years ago.

I dont remember it being too bad last winter but the last 2 months on my new motor I've been getting a lot of fuel smell. And for those affected, if you put your heater control on recirc the smell goes almost completely away.
