I think you should do something similar. :naughty: Decrease air intake temps. Nope. As Matt said...it is still silver-ish. Depends on what lighting it is in! I don't think you have to reregister cars for paint jobs anyway. I could be wrong though.
Looks fantastic robb, great choice I'm thinking of going to bryson for some paint work when i get back thats the first i've ever heard of re-registering for color
Dont pay attention to him. He has constant sand in his Mangina. Hence why he has a pic of a pink Mazda 3 as his profile pic. It was funny like 2 years ago when he first put in there now it just looks like he is an immature ass.
I started work this morning on cleaning up the engine bay. After the motor build and wreck...it needed some touch up. I added the Grimmspeed black turbo heat shield...some new silicone couplers and made sure everything was routed the way I wanted it to be. Next up is to hide some more wires and get my dress up pieces in. The next updates will be all of the audio work. There has been a lot done in that area over the past two days.
i did the same thing on mine, i just wish there was a better way to tuck the wires in these ugly-ass bays. over a grand into stainless braided lines and tucking as many wires as possible, it still looked retarded. somebody would make a killing if they could figure out a way to successfully and efficiently hide all the crap in that bay. It has such good potential with the visibility of all the working components, too. Interested to see what it ends up looking like down the road for you
I think Ferrari has made the only nice looking boxer, Porsche and VW hid as much as they could under cooling tins and body work
We really do have crappy looking engine bays. There is just too much stuff everywhere. I don't know how much I am going to be able to clean it up...but I am going to try.
Very Nice Video! Your attention to detail, determination, and patience with your car definitely shows. This car is a perfect example of what a WRX should be. So what it doesn't have the biggest HP numbers, HeLLUHfLusH, or some cracked out wacked out paintjob. You took a great vehicle and made it phenomenal. One of my favorite 3G WRX's of all and is an inspiration for me in tuning mine...
Very well said. It's hard to find that line between tasteful and completely ridiculous. Nice job sir your ride is amazing.
Thanks. We'll have to see what you guys think of the new additions when they come in...new front lip, side skirts and rear wing.
OEM color no doubt....lol It does indeed look absolutely amazing. makes me want to think twice about doing all the work to re-paint mine. I wanna see how the heavy pearl flakes turned out in person though. I'm sure its immaculate, but none the less....a treat for our eyes and your enjoyment. great job with it!
Thanks! The car feels incredible right now. Doug did an awesome job with the tune. For the first time in awhile (thanks to that wreck)...I really didn't want to get out of my car today. It was a great feeling.
Pumped robb!!! That is really good numbers, I can't imagine how fun it is to drive since that's basically twice what i'm probably putting down to the wheels lol. HOWEVER! Appointment @ 9 tomorrow with the gentlemen of TSM. gonna make an appearance?
You think you only make 212/203? Me thinks you will be shocked with the Stage 2 results from a TSM tune.
Well i'm only cobb OTS stage 1 + SF intake, so i'm probably like 280 to the wheels, MAYBE. Might very well hit 380 today who knows. That will be a surprise lol, 100 more ft/lb ? Be impossible not to notice that.
You'll be really surprised to see how much of a change our cars make at stage 2 protune. It is pretty nuts.
