I wouldn't think he would want wheels that match Shiring's hair.

I'm with Hawk on this...BBS CX would look sweet.

Or even something from Modulare Wheels

    a 275 will fit onto a 20X9? Wouldnt a 20X10 be optimal?

Stripping apart a car sucks. I found a Mater under my passenger seat. I hope Daniel doesn't lose it when he sees the car in pieces. He really loves it and we have had a lot of great memories in there.

This on the other hand was fun. 6 hours of mountain runs over the past two days because I had to travel for work.

    considered the "black chrome" grille?

How does the big girl do? Is the magnaride as functional as they say?

All of the chrome is getting redone in black chrome. The calipers are going to be ZR1 blue. The interior is getting blue stitching curtsey of JPM Coachworks...and some other stuff planned.

Go check NASIOC these days. Most of those cars might as well be modded like old Civics. Everything is cheap knock off parts now. Like any car...you can spend a lot on quality parts if you want to but it seems the knock off stuff is "cool" now. IWSTI is a different story though.

    So what's involved with 700hp CTS-V? Tune/Exhaust/Pulley/Intake?

Oh and if I may I would recommend a new thread just for that sexy CTS-V.

Cam, head work, ported snout, injectors, headers, x-pipe, upper and lower pulley, 160 degree stat, heat exchanger, e85, flex fuel sensor...and a couple other misc. things.

I thought about cams. Head work is so easy on these cars. It's an amazing engine.

Great story behind this car. Sad it couldn't stay in its finished state.

Off to All Pro to get buttoned up and ready for a new owner. Everything is back to stock except for the bushings and motor. I am having All Pro swap the intake manifolds back and go over everything and make sure it's all good for sale. :(

Kind of a sad day. I watched the WRX roll out of the parking lot to a new home. I don't think I have ever had a car that impacted our lives as much as that one did.

    - It was the car we had Daniel in and introduced him to speed and motorsports. He has his own Subaru's in the house.
    - It was the car my wife would do pulls with and then roll down the window to show the guy next to us that they just got beat by a girl.
    - It was the car allowed me to meet friends all over the country that I wouldn't have otherwise.
    - It was the car that got me interested in automotive photography.

It was just a really cool car that was a lot of fun to own. It was more than a car...it was a book of memories that I will never forget. Onto the next chapter...

Just be careful. Kids have the "butt dyno" issue too. Apparently the V isn't really fast anymore...it is just fast. Kids...

  42. I know the feeling. Memories, oh memories. Good and bad. I miss my car every dang day.
