I tried to convince her, but we still do not have any wheels to mount her 15" slicks. If anyone has a set of crappy 15" wheels that have the right fit, let me know. It is her baby and she does not want to kill the factory tires....too expensive to replace right now.

Yes, that's what Silverdollar charges for everyone that enters the gate.

Yes, Silverdollar charges $10 to everyone to get in the gate, even if you already pre-registered the $22. They're two seperate entities. The $10 goes to the track for track workers, track prep, etc. The $22 goes towards your t-shirt and tech card; which divides out to the cash purse for the Quick 8 & AWD/RWD/FWD awards and trophies.

Anything in particular we need to do to ready the car for the track? Also, is there a particular time for tech or registration or anything or just show up and go? Just want to be sure of everything before we head out there this time.

 

Best I could find were helmet if running 13.99 or faster, roll bar for 11.99 or faster unless convertible...then 13.99 or faster. Drivers must all wear long pants and shirts. Battery in the trunk means you need a box as well as an external cut off switch outside the car in the rear with off marked or push marked if it is a push style cut off. That is about the best I could find without ordering the NHRA rulebook...

 

i dont believe a roll bar is required for 11.99 or faster.

 

Just what NHRA rules say...just going by what they say as they are the only referenced guidelines for this event.

Edit: for imports (not sure of the difference)it says 11.49 or faster need roll bars.
