Here is the dilema: I much prefer the bugeye look to the look of my 04. There is a guy with an aspen white in Winston-Salem who wants to do the tear drop conversion. Seems like a no-brainer right? Well yes, except, I am still wondering about the 06 or 07 WRX and what it will ultimately be like. If they go with the 2.5l and do another Trade -in program this year that would be very tempting. I can't imagine that they would accept a car with that much work done though. So onto the poll...
I wouldn't do it unless you knew you were going to hold onto your car for a long time. It would kill the value to anyone but just a few bugeye nuts like me.
I would say do it if you plan on keeping the car for a while. If you plan on trading your car in in a couple years keep the tear-drop look.
