fresh out of the barn and hasn't run since the 60's gave it a bath then a liberal coating of WD40 didn't pay much and it's complete, plus side is the original motor spins free and the tank looks brand new with no rust or trash in it. the busted wheel is no big deal, the plastic wheels would have to be replaced regardless and AL replacements are easy to source. Replaced the oil in the cases tonight and plan on throwing on a new air filter, plug and replace points&condenser with solid-state after work tomorrow.
ftfy funny thing is after I cleaned up the busted rim I put air in the tube and it held... filled the others and all still holding air. Must be those Made in USA Goodyear tires and tubes LOL
Well forward and reverse work, now to get tubes in two of the tires and I may take her for a spin today.
and it looks like the glue will hold, took her around the block a couple of times. might try to cruise up to C&O in the morning.
