that's reportedly from the injector switch.

I wonder what that translates to for after market tuning. More tuning 'leg room' more hassle, etc.

wow...the readers of that article are morons...reading some of the comments in there is just sad.

    wow, i didn't even look....

I'm actually even more impressed with the car. It's living up to what I expected, and after all of you pre-order people get theirs, I'm looking forward to hearing how the handling holds up to the claims

Is anyone shocked that the GTI is underrated? I'm not. I have drove one. They are properly quick.

Other than the quirk in the torque curve, it is what I was expecting. Did not expect a curve quite that flat though. That is impressive.

    41.9 inches/29.9 inches
    Shoulder room (front/rear)

    Thanks.

That is less headroom and legroom than the RX8 in the front seats(1 inch less in both areas). I will now officially pass on this car. It is just too small for me.

Used RX8 is starting to look promising... mild mods and they make over 210whp.. weight removal is easy and they are dirt cheap used.

Dirt cheap is an understatement. I have seen decent mileage examples for well under $10K

Weight is the failing of the RX8. The 4 door coupe design added a bunch when they removed the B pillar. I really enjoyed mine. I just could only drive it for about an hour at a time before my back and legs cramped.

With no engine ive seen then for under $5k. Perfect LS candidates

I actually looked last night and it seems that prices have went up a little since the car has been discontinued. 2004-2005's are under $10K and just about all over them are under $17K including ones from stealerships. It is still dirt cheap and still too small for me.

    Now, back to the BRZ.

But the gas mileage on them is absolutely horrendous. I test drove one prior to my Subaru and I actually loved it. But the MPG killed it for me.

Yeah, that is no joke. I got 18-20 mpg if I babied mine. When I flogged it, it wasn't even in the teens. For a weekend toy type of car though, it gets the job done. It just makes a bad daily driver.

I saw the BRZ and FRS at the NY auto show last weekend and sat in the frs very nice cars. The person said if you want one you might want to get on the list it requires a $500 refundable deposit though.

    awesome.

I got an email from SoG stating I'm now number 2 in line, and they expect the first car to be delivered same day as yours. If I really am 2 now (I was 3), then I'm hoping for a late June/early July delivery.

I'm calling some other dealers to see what they have coming, if they have any reserved, and how much.

I thought you were cancelling the order on yours as you had fallen in love with the Miata? That what the people have been saying. :p

There is one at the dealership down here in Savannah, and I managed to get a brief test drive on Saturday.
The car is smaller than I thought it would be, and it reminds me of my wife's old Miata.

Was it a Subaru BRZ or the Scion FR-S? Seems the Scions are getting there before the Subaru's.

It was a WRB Premium BRZ with the deck lid spoiler.
If I remember correctly, the window sticker read 26,853.

i`m coming down for the graduation so i may as well book an appointment for a test drive :naughty:

That is assuming that it is still there.
The sales rep. did not expect the car to be on the lot past Tuesday.
I was told that there were already 5 people there before me and as I was pulling away, someone else was getting in for a test drive.

well i'm glad the brz is not coming with that wing. I'm still disapointed that the scion/yota gets the horizontally opposed piston logo and not the subie.

no need to go all the way to Savannah, there's one at Classic
