I figure it would be a good idea to make a thread where everyone can throw down 3 major complaint of the day... 1- I am stuck working a 24 hour shift 6am-6am on a saturday 2- My $15,000 STi has only been driven 105 miles by me since I have owned it 80 where back to my house both times first the turbo went out not even 10 miles away from the lot and now something insane is going on check out my thread in the engine section... and that I got screwed by a Dealer... 3- Wife hates me right now so im in the Dog House since I bought a car that is DOA This is the Dog house... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Twivg7GkYts
If that's the worst of your problems, you're still living the high life...my story with my STi trumps that by leaps and bounds, and the story of the last week of my life trumps even that.
Its the complaint thread throw it down! ARNOLD!!!!!!!!!! AAHHHHHHHHRGHHHHHHH Ive lost 55lbs in 6 months not trying to... I currently have excessive scar tissue built up all in my abdominal area that reduce my motion in my core region and in term doesnt allow me full range/strength of my body... but regadless no way I could bench over 165 lol Suppossidly in the next few weeks I will be having exploratory surgery to remove some of the scaring to hopefully reduce the pain/tensions note to all dont get hit by an RPG.
I was all set to begin my search for my first home (started internet searching/researching), until I learned from a few mortgage specialists that since I am a self-employed contractor, I need 2 years of verifiable income before I can be approved for a loan. I've been self-employed for 6 months, so now I have a year and a half to go before I can start searching again. I was pretty bummed when I learned that.
I am also self-employed and I was not aware of this issue when house-hunting. I might have been just on the cusp of 2 years at that point though. I would consult mortgage specialists from different a few more and different places. I.e, someone form a bank, from a credit union, mortgage broker, etc...
I guess it couldn't hurt to give a few more places a ring....although, 3 mortgage people told me that
you can get around that, but you may need to pay a higher interest rate. I'm commission based sales and it works the same for me, but I bought my home about 8 months into my job. Just takes showing them you earn money and will continue to earn money to get them to approve a loan, and don't stop just because they say no
I'd get carpel tunnel just typing that shit out. At least 50% of the people here know at least 50% of my story...meet me in person at some of the meets and I'll fill you in.
I could have also added that I am having bad luck with buying a house. Already offered on 2 houses, one 3k more then actual asking price. And second one, I offered 5k more then the asking price. And we didnt win either one of the two. Someone made even bigger offer. So I lost about 1 month in my search, and im at ground zero again, looking.
I got all y'all beat......I went to the Kesha concert today with my girlfriend. I was one of the only guys there that wasn't holding hands with another guy. All the other girls there were in middle school, or they were moms trying to fit in with their middle school daughters. I don't have a job right now so I didn't buy my girlfriend anything for her birthday, so that concert is what bein in the dog house got me
i dont have a gf i work EVERY night of the week (two part time jobs) i go to school 5 days a week i drive over 1000 miles a week btwn those two jobs and the gas money i barely have any money left over at the end of the week i live with my parents so far away from anything interesting, that no friends will ever come visit me and there is nothing to do i owe over $20k in student loans and still have a year to go im sure there is more im forgetting what do i win?!

I just want to say I'm sorry you all are having bad times. Drew I really hope your finger heals well and quickly! day 2 wrap job...pictures dont do it justice. hand is swollen, knuckles are missing. ring finger hurts the most right now, pretty bruised on the first joint. hooray for oxycodone, when its not making me puke my guts out. birdie is cocked about 5-10* towards my pinkie, guessing thats going to have to get reset...
Complaint #2: If you effing drive a freaking C5 Vette you shouldn't be getting food stamps. I was at Walmart to get my breakfast/lunch for the week and OMG it was busy.....first day of the month and the food stamps went out etc. This lady in designer clothes was in front of me using her food stamps to pay. I noticed her keys which had the Vette logo on it. When I was walking out after paying, she drove by in this hella nice Vette. Our systems are so flawed here....no wonder the gov't is in so much debt.
Really sorry to hear man. I read your thread.....sucks indeed. This is why I don't buy anything from a dealership without at least a 30 day warranty.
