based of Alex's comment from last week, I'm thinking bbq of some sort...

www.oldhickoryhouse.com is high on the list. The Dunwoody location.

Or Sam and Dave's in East Cobb.

Sorry wont be able to make it, but if I can suggest a place: Hankook Taqueria. It's Korean Tacos right of of Collier near ABC Brewery. It's really good and well priced.

Yes it's by the Ryder truck rental also.

If we do a meet there or Nuevo Laredo I'd definitely be there, its really close to where I work.

    Korean? Tacos????
Does that place have anything to do with the man in Korea with his mobile "taco" stand in S. Korea?
He got really famous really quick once the media got a hold of him.

I know what I'm talking about. Fuck you.

But obviously not in the way that I heard it because I can't find one single article about it. In English anyways.

Lol I'm not sure if that has anything to do with him. The food trend became really popular in California, and it's the only restuarant in Atlanta right now. and they do have their own Korean Taco truck. It's called Yumbii

Yeah I saw that trying to google that article I was talking about.
What I heard, the method of using, what I guess is the Korean marinated shredded beef, makes the tacos really good.
The old man in Korea now has a truck too rather than just like a mobile cart.

    Yes. This. Tonight.

Yea its pretty much Korean Kalbi, kimchi, and sauce in a taco. But they also have other types with the sauce like Fish, Shrimp, Pork, Calamari. They also have appetizers and other dishes including sweet potato fries, bimbop, burritos, and dumplings.

Oh forgot to mention their bimbop is really good. They featured that dish on Alton Brown on the Food Channel.

Pretty much its a really good restaurant with reasonable prices. They also give discounts for students and military.

Lol kimchi in a taco. Sounds pretty good though, for being so simple.

"bimbop"? Do you mean bibimbop? The bowl of rice mixed with vegetables and an egg?

Hahah... Wow... Well, at least Korean food is getting more publicity.
That bulkogi and gochujjang must be super good because bimbimbop is pretty boring if you ask me.
