Looks great in person also. Thanks for the hospitality at the Petit le Mans yesterday. I was really proud to be parked with the crew.
thanks for making it out there and parking with us... the corral being full is what made it a success
Dude your car is like some kid of death-mobile. JK. Have you thought about painting the exhaust? You could also get some cheapo black floor mats if you wanna add a touch of black to the inside. I did it just to save the stock mats for whenever I sell my car.
thought of doing the black interior like JL889... however, id rather spend that money on go fast goodies
Milo, don't you know an all-matching interior adds atleast 50 HP on dyno? Not to mention the weight-reduction possibilities /sarcasim
hey milo. don't mean to jack your thread, Did you talk to Scott about loging my car?? i still want to get my car retuned.
i had talked to him... i could give him a call and tell him to expect a call from you so u guys can set a date...
NEED MORE POWER !!!!! after spending a lot of time on this, i believe i have decided on an upgrade path... subject to availability, this is what i'll be getting: Deadbolt SuperZilla 65 APS DR525 FMIC APS 70mm CAI APS turbo inlet tube Injectors (haven't decided on brand) Fuel pump I dropped my Super16g off with SS... he will be sending it in to DB to get it rebuilt into the SZ65 :tasty:
sweeeeeetttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what this thing will do with the sz65. fatboy wheel is mandatory right?? Also what about tgv deletes? I think that this is the same turbo that Javid is running (and I'm sure loves). New thread for injector discussion?? That's the next link I'm unsure of myself.
thanks guys same here... there are very few people in the country running this turbo... i wanted to be unique kinda like i was with the super16g ... also i really liked the red and this should be pretty similar... i might not break any records but im sure i wont be unhappy nope... i could have upgraded to the big tsunami wheel at a 500-700rpm loss in spool... i could have downgraded to the clipped td06 but i didnt wanna do that either... im probably gonna stick with the fatboy required ... but the nice thing is that when the intake manifold comes off, injectors, solid inlet tube and turbo install becomes soo much easier javid is running the SZ60 with some special tweaks by jerry i talked to SS about this today and he STRONGLY recommended the deatschwerks injectors... those are his current favorite... he says they are the easiest to tune, have the least install issues, and are probably the most balanced injectors he has ever tuned
Milo you can just tape over the brembo and have black claipers with white brembo..... therfor satisfying your inner ricer and being more like the limited
following items have been shipped: APS DR525 FMIC APS 70mm CAI APS turbo inlet tube SZ65 is ready and should have already been shipped.... if not, it will be shipped monday i'll buy injectors when i decide which ones to go for but so far, i think im gonna get the PE850s
so how do they work around keeping the CAI and also a FMIC?...I know injen did that but hadn't heard of any other kits that did and still had a decent size core...
^^ There are two holes on the passenger side engine compartment. The fmic uses one while the CAI uses the other. The Ultimate Racing kits do the same thing.
This should be a nice ride when its done. Why the DR525 and not the 600? Black or silver front mount?
i have ordered the black core with red piping i assume you are asking why the DR525 vs the DR725... if i remember correctly from the last time i checked the DR525 is bigger than the perrin FMIC which seems to be doing fine on the GT35R cars... the 725 is much bigger than the 525 which volume-wise sits right between the perrin and the 725... however the 525 has a larger front surface area and is about 1.2 inches thinner than the 725, so i guess im not adding too much heat to the air going through my radiator... i prefer to use the smallest IC that fits your needs
santa came in early... but he was dressed up as a UPS guy and he didn't want milk and cookies... but he did bring some BIG goodies :ddirty: for those who didnt read the rest of this thread, thats deadbolt's superzilla 65 turbo and the APS DR/525 front mount intercooler... other items that showed up but i didnt bother taking pictures were the APS 70mm cold air intake and the APS inlet tube... i put the can of miller lite in there just for size comparison... but i think im gonna drink it now cuz otherwise my turbo would swallow it
Wowzers..... That turbo and front mount are teh secksay!!! How long you gonna wait to get it all put in?
