and I doubt the South Korean government would let Hyundai go bankrupt. That would be the same as Japan letting Honda, Toyota, Fuji, or Nissan go bankrupt. Both of those governments put those families in positions of oligarchical business control to get the countries' economies rolling (with others, LG/Samsung/etc). It won't happen...
