Thanks Scott, you're the coolest. The car sounds and feels great!!! I forgot to re-tighten those few uppipe bolts at the top, but I'll do it tomorrow. We couldn't find anything to plug the uppipe bung, so just put the sensor back in it. I'll post some pics and videos soon. Mission accomplished!!! I can't wait to get tuned on Thursday!
Sounds great! Just make sure to torque down those UP nuts ASAP, and hope that you don't need to tighten the two that your downpipe is hiding. Also, I'd recommend removing the sensor as soon as you can, since it now serves no purpose and could potentially get sucked into the turbo down the road.
Yeah, I know about the worthless sensor. Luckily I can get to it and replace it without removing anything (I think). About the bolts... After connecting the UP and DP both to the turbo, we moved on to the header. Unfotunately we needed just the slightest bit of play (about a 1/4 inch) to slip the header in place. So, I slightly loosened the 3 UP bolts that I could get to and that did the trick, but forgot to go back to them. Easy fix.
Great, Scott called me sometime yesterday I assume regarding this. Glad to see you guys got it together
Yeah, I actually can't find the camera. I"m going to go dig through my car right now. I didn't leave it there, did I? edit: Nevermind, I found it. The little shit fell under the seat. I'll post pics in a new thread.
Actually I talked to Rich at MadDad yesterday and he's going to send me a plug in the mail for free! Once it comes, I think I can swap it without removing any parts. (MadDad was originally going to take the uppipe bung completely out of the production design, but decided too late.)
