why would the car even be put on the lift for a heat sheild bracket?

let me get this right, you charge 60 bucks to rack a car?

If so that is INSANE, it takes less than 1 min!

I have no clue! But definitely looking into the service side of things. I'm sales guy that loves the product. This under the hood stuff, I leave to the "experts". Nevertheless, I agree with you. It was insane.

Mosy anywhere charges $50-$75 to rack a vehicle. It may only take a minute by the liabilities involved are high.

So id say that its a fair price

I think the situation here is why was it racked to begin with? Unless it's the header heatshield, everything's accessible through the top bay. I could see them charging to remove the intercooler before they charged to rack the car...however, I don't even think that's necessary for a simple inspection.
